About Me

Hello! my name is Amanda Kobus, I am currently working as a Clinical Registered Dietitian in long term care and rehab. I completed my Dietetic Internship at Syracuse University in 2014. I graduated in May of 2013 from Syracuse University with my Master of Arts in Nutrition Science. I previously received my Bachelor of Science in Biology from the State University of New York at Oswego in 2010. While attending Syracuse University, I have had the opportunity to work with many organizations throughout the community. I have seen what a Registered Dietitian can do from all aspects of the field. I feel that it is a very exciting and rewarding career.

My passion for the Dietetics field lies within clinical nutrition and food service. I have worked in healcare food service for just over 4 years and feel that there is so much a Dietitian can offer. I also like working with children and their families to better their health. Empowering children with the knowledge of nutrition is important to continue the growth of the community as a whole. I am also interested health promotion and wellness programs.

Throughout my career, I plan to exhibit my hard work and work my way up to becoming a food service director.
